Individual sessions for counselling last 50 minutes, for coaching 60 minutes, and most people find weekly sessions work well to start with. As things improve, we might space them out to fortnightly. We'll go at whatever pace feels right for you.
Not at all. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others prefer longer-term support. We'll review how things are going regularly and you can decide what feels right.
The therapeutic relationship is just as strong online as it is in person. Many people actually prefer online sessions because they can be in their own comfortable space. We'll figure out what works best for you.
That's completely normal, especially at first. I have lots of ways to communicate that don't involve talking – through art, play, or just being comfortable in silence. There's no pressure to share more than they're ready to.
Everyone's different, but many people start feeling a bit more hopeful after just a few sessions. Real change takes time, and we'll celebrate the small steps along the way.
Life happens, and I understand that. I just ask for 24 hours' notice when possible so I can offer the time to someone else who might need it.

Counselling focuses on emotional wellbeing and understanding your feelings. ADHD coaching is much more practical and future-focused. While counselling explores the 'why', coaching works on the 'how' – how to get organised, manage time better, and build habits that actually stick.
Not necessarily. Coaching can help anyone who struggles with organisation, time management, procrastination, or executive functioning challenges. If you recognise ADHD traits but haven't been diagnosed, we can still work on practical strategies.
We'll focus on whatever's causing you the most difficulty, creating organisation systems, developing time management strategies, building routines, managing procrastination, or dealing with rejection sensitivity. You'll get practical tools to try between sessions, and we'll adjust based on what works for you.
